Letter from our Youth Director
It has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to work with Middle School students. Although I have been at it for more than 16 years I feel as though I still have so much to learn. The Middle School years are such an amazing time. It is one of the biggest transitions in a young man’s or woman’s life. I believe that “The Point” is a great place for a kid to work through some of that pre-teen angst, to find healthy friendships and real Faith.
“The Point” exists to:
- Give kids repeated opportunities to respond to Jesus Christ in beginning faith
- Help students develop a desire to read and memorize God’s work individually and corporately
- Help students find inspiration and instruction to lead meaningful prayer lives.
- Give kids a place where they can learn to worship God in reverence and obedience.
- Inspire students to live passionately for God through the power of the Holy Spirit.
